DOOR OPENER will gently open and hold open an unlatched door. If the door is to be opened up more aggressively then 2 or 3 DOOR OPENERS may be used -- one on each door hinge.  DOOR OPENER was designed to work on wooden inside doors that are hung in wood frames.  DOOR OPENER consists of a spring and a washer.  The washer allows the use of DOOR OPENER on almost any diameter hinge pin.

How to install DOOR OPENER

1.

You will need these things: Hammer for tapping hinge pin back into place and for inserting DOOR OPENER’S insert pins into door and frame. Pliers to help you remove hinge pin.

2.

Pull out hinge pin and run it through DOOR OPENER spring and washer. Insert hinge pin partway back into the hinge.

3.

Fully insert hinge pin back into the hinge, then hammer DOOR OPENER’S points into the wood door and the wood door frame.

4.

Tap the hinge pin fully down into place. Installation is complete.
